This is the beginning… of anything you want - Boy.
The semester is finally over. Thank God. It’s odd, since the beginning of last year I’ve really been looking forward to summer. I mean I LOVE winter and I’ve always had a general dislike for summer but for some reason these past two years have been different. A lot is happening this summer, actually this year in general but lets focus on summer for now - a friend is getting married which I am incredibly excited for because I haven’t been to a proper Pakistani wedding or celebration since 2004 which was when I was there last. 9 years is a LONG time. I’m going to have to wear a saree and shalwar kameez for these upcoming wedding celebrations and I’m terrified. June = party month with lots of color and lots of pictures. I’m spending a week with these guys and I can’t wait. I’ll finally get to meet my niece Aila! - if you follow me on instagram you’ll see it all!
My grandmother is going to be coming to New York next week (fingers crossed!), I haven’t seen her in 2 years so we have a lot of catching up to do. When June ends I’ll have to look for a job which I’m not that excited for… anyone want to hire me? Come on… help a girl out!

All eyes on this beauty.
I had many favorites in the Oscar de la Renta SS 2013 collection but this dress was by far my absolute favorite. You guys don’t understand my obsession, when I fall in love with a dress I think about it day and night and go through my music and think of all sorts of ideas and stories to tell with it. I hope I get the chance to photograph this dress someday!

When my sister Fatimah was born, my mother got these two gold bracelets made - she’s on the Pisces-Aries cusp. I find it adorable to have two little rams sitting and looking at each other on your wrist.
