All eyes on this beauty.

I had many favorites in the Oscar de la Renta SS 2013 collection but this dress was by far my absolute favorite. You guys don’t understand my obsession, when I fall in love with a dress I think about it day and night and go through my music and think of all sorts of ideas and stories to tell with it. I hope I get the chance to photograph this dress someday!

Last weekend: post brunch snow on the upper west side. I love this neighborhood.

Sometimes the only way to go is…. up.

Celebrated my birthday last month by having brunch followed by  cupcakes in the park with some of my best people. We refuse to grow up and I hope it stays that way.

The most adorable baby superheroes known to mankind.

My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Every time I see pictures or videos of the destruction this storm brought… it breaks my heart and makes me wish I wasn’t going crazy in school because I’d rather go out and help instead. If you’re looking for way to help but cannot get to the devastated areas, donate to the American Red Cross - Right now, as I type this… NYC is in the middle of a Nor’easter which will severely impact the recovery efforts… so every little bit helps!

Sometimes you just want music, no words, no one singing - just the music. Elsewhere by Asfandyar Khan will give you just that and a whole lot more. If you’re wanting to check out for a bit and be transported even for a while to a place that you know exists but can’t seem to get to…. this album will take you there. 

Asfandyar contacted me a while ago asking if he could use this image as his album cover and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. I’m so happy that I could be a part of this wonderful project. This was an instagram photo I took on my way to Beacon to photograph Sarah & Nigel’s wedding. The train ride up was so beautiful and the entire time I wished I had some amazing music to compliment the sights I was seeing, so as soon as Elsewhere was released I realized this is what was missing from that trip. I might just take the Metro-North up to Beacon again for the experience.

Buy this album. I promise you… you will not regret it - p.s the track Sept 29th is my absolute favorite off of the album and today happens to be Sept 29th so there you go!
